Crispy Apple/Banana Fritters: Submitted by: Sandy | Date Added: 29 Mar 2020 Ingredients:

1 cup rice flour
4 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp custard powder
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup ice-cold water
1 tbsp veg oil

2 apples, cored and chopped in small pieces
2 bananas, sliced

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat frying pan with vegetable oil to medium heat.

1. Sift the dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Pour in ice-cold water.
3. Mix to form a not too thick or thin batter.
4. Stir in veg oil.
5. Add the fruits.
6. Scoop 1/4 cup of the mixture into the pan.
7. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
8. Drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Tip: Chill batter for 30 minutes before frying.
