Yeast Doughnuts
Yeast Doughnuts: Submitted by: Cook Book | Date Added: 1 Jan 2010 Ingredients:

8 cup flour
1/3 cup Crisco oil
1 cup warm milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 pkgs. Dry yeast

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except flour. Gradually add flour
2. Let mixture rise about 40 minutes.
3. Roll dough 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with floured dough cutter.
4. Let rise for 5 minutes.
5. Deep fry in hot oil for about a minute on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
6. Roll warm doughnuts in sugar, if desired. Makes 4-5 dozen doughnuts.
