Joann Rosario Boone Banana Doughnuts
Joann Rosario Boone Banana Doughnuts: Submitted by: Joann Rosario Boone | Date Added: 1 Jan 2010 Ingredients:

2 Bananas
1 Egg
1/2 Cup sugar
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Teaspoon baking powder
1 Cup flour

Cooking Instructions:

1. First peel, slice, and mash ripe bananas.
2. Add egg, sugar, vanilla mix well.
3. Add baking powder and flour mix well.
4. Using a frying pan or electric skillet heat vegetable oil about medium high heat or 350 degrees about 7 minutes make sure oil is hot.
5. Using a tablespoon dip it into the batter and spoon it out, drop int hot oil try not to over crowd the dough about 5 to 6 drops using 12 inch skillet.
6. Cook 3 minutes then turn, cook another 3 minutes then turn, cook doughnuts until golden brown. take out oil then place doughnuts on a paper towel platter.
7. Let cool for a couple of minute before eating.
8. You can eat it plain or dip it pancake syrup.
9. A twist: After cooking doughnut, place it in a brown paper bag with 1 cup of sugar and shake then take out doughnut and place on a platter. You can even add 4 tablespoons cinnamon to the sugar.
