1 - 8" Sponge cake
1 2/3 cup water
1 can carnation milk
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 eggs
6 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cooking Instructions:

1. Slice sponge cake, spread on platter or custard dish, set aside.
2. Place water, milk, butter and sugar in a one-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add well-beaten eggs, vanilla and cinnamon. Again, bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
3. Mix 1/3 cup water with cornstarch until smooth. Pour into milk mixture until thicken.
4. Remove from heat, and spread over Sponge cake.
5. Sprinkle cinnamon over latiya. May be serve like custard.
