Bonelos Dago (yams)

5-10 lbs. dago (yams) peeled
2-1/2 cups flour
2-1/2 cups water
4-6 young coconut, grated
1 cup sugar

Cooking Instructions:

1. Grate dago in a large bowl.
2. Add flour, water, young coconut, and sugar.
3. Mix ingredients thoroughly.
4. Shape dough into small round balls.
5. Drop into hot cooking oil and fry for about 10 to 15 minutes.
6. When donuts are golden brown, remove from oil. Drain off excessive grease on paper towels.
